MATTER CHANGES HANDS

Matter Changes Hands (2017), a dance work choreographed by Lindy Fines.

MATTER CHANGES HANDS

MATTER CHANGES HANDS (2017) weaves together physical patterns based on floral imagery and two-dimensional drawings of frozen human motion. Through moments of unexpected tactile intimacies, this meditative moving tapestry reveals a non-narrative sensuality, and invokes the process of a group molding itself into being.

A work-in-progress segment of MATTER CHANGES HANDS was first performed at Movement Research at the Judson Church in March 2017 in NYC. It was then performed at Brooklyn Ballet’s First Look (2017) and Triskelion Art’s Guest Curated Series (2017).
